On through BELL BUSK to HELLIFIELD. Steam from WILPSHIRE to HELLIFIELD. The S&C all the way to CARLISLE via SETTLE, HORTON, RIBBLEHEAD, BLEA MOOR, DENT, GARSDALE and AIS GILL. A variety of motive power from 1962 to 1968 with Jubilees, Scots, Britannias, Staniers, 4Fs, 9Fs and WD’s. Visiting A4 and Castle classes plus West Coast diversions with Class 40 and Peak diesels. Filmed competently in all weather conditions from sun to snow, mist and rain - typical of this route. The S&C at its best!
